CleanMax and Osaka Gas Establish Joint Venture to Accelerate India’s Green Energy Transition

CORE’s first project will involve a 400 MW capacity in Karnataka, with 300 MW already operational, requiring a total investment of Rs 1,500 crore.

CleanMax, backed by Brookfield, has partnered with Japan’s Osaka Gas to create a joint venture aimed at assisting India’s corporate sector in its transition to clean energy. This new entity, CleanMax Osaka Gas Renewable Energy (CORE), will concentrate on wind-solar hybrid energy projects, starting with a 400 MW portfolio in Karnataka.
